Willingdon House Music - Live music during the lockdown
My three musician housemates and I have started performing live concerts from our living room, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday on Facebook. Our repertoire is varied and reaches from Baroque to Bartok and Folk to Film Music. Recently we even premiered 25 brand new pieces that were especially written for our ensemble by composers from all over the world.
We also worked together with the Fondation EME on recording two special concerts for their Concerts Contre la Solitude programme.
Here’s a little video to hopefully brighten your day, from the beginning of May, in honour of Star Wars day :

Hello everyone,
I am sorry about not updating my website sooner!
A lot of things have happened in the last ten (ouch!) months, including lovely concerts with old and new friends and colleagues, performances on BBC Radio 3 after being chosen as a BBC Radio 3 Introducing artist, and above all an exhilarating year with Southbank Sinfonia!
I feel very lucky to be part of the SbS family now. If you don't know them yet, you should check them out here : Soutbank Sinfonia
Plenty more exciting projects coming up over the next few weeks and months :
- Britten-Pears Orchestra - Daphnis&Chloë and Rite of Spring (7th April)
- Oliver Wass, Pelléas Ensemble & Special Guests (21 May)
and more to be announced, so stay tuned!
See you all soon!

Hi everyone!
I'm writing from Luxembourg at the moment, where I was enjoying a little holiday at home.
Just a quick update with some important news from my side.
After a season as Principal Clarinet with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, I decided leave the orchestra to return to London.
It wasn't an easy decision and I am very sad to leave behind a lot of new friendships, lovely colleagues and the Mediterranean. I do hope to be back with the MPO from time to time, but in the meantime, I shall enjoy the freelance life in the UK, Luxembourg or wherever it takes me.
So keep checking back for updates and infos, as they shall appear here shortly!
While you wait, here is a picture I took at the Schwenk&Seggelke workshop in Bamberg yesterday. Very glad to be in such good company...

Many thanks to everyone who came to the Philharmonie last week to support Jason and myself! It was such a pleasure to perform in the beautiful Chamber Music hall. Many thanks and congratulations also to Music LX for organising the first Luxembourg Classical Meeting. I'm quite certain it was a resounding success!
See you all again soon!

I haven't performed in Luxembourg in far too long! So finally, here is my next concert at home :
19th July 2015 at Casino Luxembourg
I will be joined by Gonzalo Jimenéz Barranco on Double Bass and you can expect some new sounds along some, what I would call modern classics!

Have a look at Map Gift Shop's Blog. They kindly wrote a short piece about me, as I used to help out from time to time during my studies in London. Their fabulous shop is situated in Archway, North London, and is the perfect shop if you're in need of a fitting gift for any occasion!

Many thanks to Luxemburger Wort for their article today on yours truly!
So this is what I got up to on St. Patrick's Day... What started as E-Flat Clarinet practice ended like this :
